What our partners are saying

AlcheraX’s FireScout gives us a really critical early jump to get our eyes on a fire. It can take short snippets from a video camera, send it to us and we can go to a dashboard and look at it quickly and easily.

Eric SutphinSupervisor, Hazard Awareness & Warning Center PG&E

FireScout was the only provider in our RFP process that met all our specific needs. Anything we can do to protect against these disasters before they get too large is a great opportunity to save lives.

Sam WallisCommunity Alert & Warning Manager Sonoma County Dept. of Emergency Mgmt.

Some software vendors overpromise and underdeliver. FireScout underpromised and overdelivered. I’ve been very happy with the AlcheraX solution in its ability to discover or confirm fires.

Frequently asked questions

How does the AI system detect wildfires?

The AI utilizes advanced machine learning models trained on data from past wildfires, including satellite imagery, weather data, terrain maps, and sensor inputs. It continuously analyzes this multi-source data in real-time to identify subtle patterns and signatures that indicate a potential wildfire ignition.

How quickly can the AI alert authorities after a fire starts?

In testing scenarios, the AI system has demonstrated the ability to detect newly ignited wildfires and send alerts to authorities in as little as 5-10 minutes after ignition. This is significantly faster than traditional fire spotting methods which often take over an hour before fires are reported.

What areas does the wildfire AI currently monitor?

The system is operational across the western United States, with plans for nationwide coverage by 2025. It can track over 500 million acres of public and private lands, automatically prioritizing high-risk fire regions based on factors like drought conditions, urban wild land interface zones, and forest demographics.
